Answer: B. Risk of collision may exist
Rule 7 says risk should be deemed to exist if the compass bearing of an approaching vessel does not appreciably change. Keep observing and take early, substantial action when required.
Answer: C. Your sailing vessel
Rule 13 applies to every vessel. An overtaking vessel keeps out of the way regardless of the vessels' propulsion or usual responsibilities.
Answer: D. No — the in-sight stand-on rules do not apply
Rule 19 governs vessels not in sight of one another in or near restricted visibility. There is no stand-on vessel in that situation; proceed at a safe speed and act with appropriate caution.
