Which course should you start with?
Completely new to sailing? Start with Sailing Foundations — it teaches the vocabulary every other course assumes. If you are preparing for a US basic keelboat course such as ASA 101 or a US Sailing program, Basic Keelboat Theory covers the same ground with US buoyage and navigation rules.
Want to understand collision avoidance through moving situations rather than memorising rules? COLREGs Interactive covers encounters, lights, shapes, fog and sound signals. Studying RYA Day Skipper-level theory, or brushing up tides and chartwork for coastal skippering? Day Skipper Theory is the deepest course in the app. And if you are sitting a marine radio exam, Marine Radio: Short Range Certificate (SRC) drills VHF, DSC and distress procedures in exam-style scenarios.
Prefer to read before you quiz? The free sailing guides explain the same theory, topic by topic.
