1. About SailQuiz

SailQuiz (sailquiz.com) is an independent online quiz and study platform for sailing theory. It is operated under the brand name “SailQuiz”.

SailQuiz is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) or any other official sailing body. References to the RYA or its syllabuses are made solely to describe the subject matter our quizzes cover and do not imply any official connection.

For questions or concerns, contact us at [email protected].

2. The service

SailQuiz provides interactive quizzes and learning materials designed to help users study sailing theory topics such as COLREGS, navigation, tides, weather, and seamanship. Features include progress tracking, spaced repetition, and mastery indicators.

Some courses and features are available free of charge. We may introduce paid courses, subscriptions, or premium features in the future. When we do, pricing, billing terms, and cancellation conditions will be clearly displayed before any purchase.

3. Accounts

To use most features you need to create an account using an email address and password or via Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately.

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile settings.
